Both crosses feature the traditional Polish Cross of Merit design with radiating sunburst rays between the arms and the central medallion with the monogram “RP” (Rzeczpospolita Polska – Republic of Poland) surrounded by a laurel wreath.
This lot includes two different manufacturing variants:
• One cross with cut-out spaces between the rays
• One cross with solid rays without cut-outsBoth examples feature the characteristic ball suspension connector, a known feature associated with French manufacture by M. Delande.
